lights from the grouse mountain ski area light up a hilltop above north vancouver

11 January 09 | Grouse Mountain

Looking across the Burrard Inlet from Canada Place at North Vancouver and Grouse Mountain. The lights on Grouse Mountain seemed to loom over the rest of the city. The night before (a dark, overcast, snowy night) I had been walking through the Grandview District and was looking straight at the run that is lit up. The lights make a kind of ‘T’ shape and I couldn’t for the life of me tell what it was looming over the city.
