Runners On Vancouver's Stanley Park Seawall

Posted on | Shot on at 08:00:33

We recently went up to Vancouver to run LuluLemon Atheletica’s SeaWheeze half marathon. The route for that run went around Stanley Park which was blocked off for the event. The run was early in the morning and the day of the run was an overcast, slightly drizzly day. The atmosphere on the north side of Stanley Park was surreal; fog rolling around the trees, pinnacles of rock and trees on the horizon, ships staged in the harbor waiting for a berth.

Because we were running though, racing at that, we decided to come back early in the morning a couple days later on bikes to experience the park at our own pace. This was shot early in the morning with similar conditions to race day. A lightly overcast sky with whispy fog rolling around the curves. A few lonely runners and Monday morning strollers out on the path with us.
