Mountain Biking Mile Creek
Posted on | Shot on at 14:16:40
Mountain bikers on Targee Divide on the Continental Divide Trail at 10,000 feet. We accessed this from the Mile Creek trail, a fantastic singletrack that goes up Mile Creek before switchbacking up 3200 feet to the top. Another Montana mountain biker has called the Mile Creek Trail the “best single track in Montana” in a video he made of his ride. And it has been noted that the Mile Creek Trail may be one of the “most endangered single bicycle trails in the country” as some people are pushing to remove bicycle access from the Lionhead area. If anyone has a chance I highly recommend riding it, and advocating to keep it open to mountain bikes.
