Portland and the Willamette River at Night

I have to look up the spelling of Willamette every time I post a photo of it. I want to spell it Wilamette or Willamette or something. Anyway, I shot this photo on an overcast, drizzly spring night from the Eastbank Esplanade.

A friend and I spent a few hours last spring walking around Waterfront Park from the Morrison Bridge up towards the Pearl, over the Steel Bridge into the Lloyd District and then back along the Eastbank Esplanade to the Hawthorne Bridge. Across the river on the skyline of north downtown Portland, from left to right, is the neon Made in Oregon sign, US Bank Tower, and Portland Helipad. Plus a couple other buildings I don’t know the names of.
