Skiiers Hiking the Fingers at Bridger Bowl

Posted on | Shot on at 17:00:00

Continuing my unintentional series of shots of Bridger Bowl, a small ski area about 20 minutes north of my home in Bozeman, Montana. A group of skiers, snow falling around them, hikes up a route known as The Fingers on the south side of Bridger Bowl a couple weekends ago. I posted a similar photo from a slightly lower vantage point last spring.

  • YOU really want to ski, to be hiking up the the hill with the skis on your back.

  • well, if you want to have fun, i guess you have to work for it.. :) nice catch.. :)

  • I probably met you up at the top of the meadow. I was definitely there when this group, including the snowboarder in blue at the bottom, hiked up.

  • any more snow falling and it would be a white out. for some crazy reason this makes me smile. maybe it’s seeing people actually enjoying the snow.
