Looking Over New York City

Posted on | Shot on at 18:00:00

The first place I went after I flew into New York City and found my hotel was the GE Building at Rockefeller Center because I’d heard it was cool to go up at night. It was. Pretty much the entire roof is open as an observation deck. I used a Gobopod tripod which allowed me to put the camera out a ways on the buttresses and get more of the buildings right next to the tower. I got bored with the cityscapes after an hour or so though and started taking pictures of my neighbors looking out over the city instead. :)
