ivy grows out of a plastic pot in a windowsill

Potted Ivy

Posted on | Shot on at 18:00:00

When I lived in Portland one of my apartments had these big, six or eight inch deep window ledges. Someone gave me this plant that actually grew pretty well situated on those big fatty windowsills. I think it was the only plant I’ve ever successfully kept alive. It really liked this windowsill, got a lot of sun throughout the day there.

  • lucky you, the 5 or 6 plants we tried (unsuccessfully) to grow in our apartment ended up withering away.. i wonder if talking to them would help them flourish.. hmm.. :D
