Yellowstone Park

The minerals in Yellowstone National Park create some pretty awesome colors. I really like this juxtaposition of gray-white against orange against blue with the green trees in the background.

  • Excellent capture, like the colors and tones in this shot. Great job framing and composing this one.

  • this is so unusual! i agree with you about the juxtaposition of colors – really lovely. and as John says your framing choices are good – this kind of place always stumps me for what to get and what to leave out.

  • Thanks, Yellowstone is a lot of fun to shoot photos in because the geology of the area makes for such unnatural landforms.
