sandhill cranes walking

Sandhill Crane

On Saturday we rented a zoom-telephoto and drove down to Yellowstone Park hoping to see some newborn Bison calves. We wound up seeing more types of wildlife than I’ve ever seen before and shooting about 1000 images in 5 hours. This is part 1/7 of a short series of park photos. We saw these sandhill cranes on the road to Mammoth on our way out of the park.
