When I was in Vancouver the lights at the top of this mountain caught me by surprise more than once. I was walking along the street in the direction of the mountain on a cloudy/rainy night and all you could see where the lights, in the shape of a T, looming overhead, far higher than any of the buildings in the area.

I took this photo a couple of nights later from the waterfront near the Convention Center, another rainy night, there were some incredible cloud formations over the mountain picking up the city lights.
