gold medal flour mill and new condos rise up alongside the mississippi river

Gold Medal Flour

Posted on | Shot on at 18:00:00

The old Gold Medal Flour mill in Minneapolis, aparantly an explosion blew out the ruin that you see alongside the left third of the photo. More recently, condos and, I believe, an art museum have been developed alongside it. In the immediate foreground is the Mississippi Riverfront park.

  • looks like remnants of a war-torn place.. :) these ruins look great.. nice shot.. :)

  • such an interesting mix in this image – the ruins look like post war europe and the flour sign in the sky reminds of 50’s advertising purity and optimism. good mix.
