dark red leaves covered in a wet snow

First Snow of Winter 2007

Posted on | Shot on at 08:50:59

It snowed on Friday night in town. It’s been hitting the mountains around town for about the last two weeks but this was the first time its snowed in Bozeman and stuck. It was Eddie’s first encounter with the white stuff and while he wasn’t quite sure what to do with it at first I think he’ll be a great snow dog.

  • How can you have snow already? We in Brooklyn, haven’t seen temperatures under 50 yet.
Good photo, by the way. Best use of color available and the shot is composed well.

  • Wow, snow already! I’m still waiting for the leaves on my Gingko and my Japanese Maples to drop! Fall comes late here in San Francisco.

    Beautiful shot, by the way!
